Terry's 7 Days With The Chevy Sonic

Last month, I attended an event with Chevy & Klout (click here if you don't remember). Chevy was so pleased with how much I enjoyed the car that they decided to send me one for 7 days. I fell in love with this car the first day I had it, which is pretty major because I am not a fan of hatchbacks. I was pleasantly surprised by the roominess inside the vehicle because I am 6'4, me and small cars do not get along. The car is exactly what it was designed to be, FUN & CONVENIENT. Throughout the week you may have noticed me constantly tweeting the #ChevySonic hastag , now my actions will finally be explained for those of you that may have been confused by this. Here is a breakdown of my day to day activities with the car to give you an idea of how I put it to the test.

Day:1 Car Arrives

This day was major because it was my birthday and I had brand new car to roam the town in. The day was filled with pampering and party transportation so this was possibly the busiest day out of them all. I filled the car up with friends and it seemed to fit 5 people quite comfortably. It was fairly easy to find a parking space in NYC because of the car's convenient size.

BET.com Interviews Terry McFly About The Jordan Concords

I was interviewed yesterday evening by BET.com's Tony Anderson. BET wanted to hear my views about the Jordan Concord 11's, so I invited them to the Kith store with me in Soho to have this interview. Shoutout to Ronnie Fieg & Adam Zee for allowing me to use their venue and also hookin me up with that dope Kith jacket I was wearing during the interview. I would also like to give a few off camera shoutouts too Turcois Minek & my homeboy Dannie Fresh for all of their help during the filming process. Watch the full interview below and see a few photos that were taken during the filming.

Shaq Joins The NBA on TNT

Are you ready for some NBA Basketball? I know I am! I've always been a fan of the NBA on TNT especially for the funny commentary from Sir Charles Barkley, but things will be taken to a whole new level when Shag joins the team on Christmas Day. I was a fan of Shaq as a kid when he played for the Orlando Magic, I can't wait to see the antics of Shaq, Charles, & Kenny. This is definitely a gift for the fans, check out Shaq's crazy NBA on TNT music video.

PHOTOS: Eagles vs. Giants Game

Last night, I was invited to the Eagles vs. Giants game by my friends Darryl Tapp & Tiffany Tapp. I am a friend before I am a fan so I definitely had to rock the Eagles gear to support them. I was heckled by random strangers as I entered Giants Stadium in my green attire, but at the end of the night I got the last laugh because the Eagles won! I had a great time, great seats, and great company. Check out a few of the photos I took during the game to give you sort of a first person view of where I was sitting. All of these photos were shot using my iPhone 4S.

Jennifer Williams Lucid Cosmetics Launch Party

Last night, I was invited by Jennifer Williams to attend the launch party of her new Lucid Cosmetics line. I don't really have a use for cosmetics but I had plenty of MUA friends to extend the invitation to. The event was held at the Big Drop NYC store on the Upper East Side. It was a nice intimate setting filled with many familiar faces from the entertainment world. I had a great time enjoying the complimentary moscato and treats. There were a lot of camera crews on hand filming this event so I'm guessing this will definitely be a scene in the next season of Basketball Wives. I live blogged from the venue last night on my "Terry In The City" page. Check out a few of the extra photos from my iphone below.

Video: Atrium X Kith Unveiling

A few days ago, TerryMcfly.com was invited to attend the unveiling of the new Atrium X Kith location in Brooklyn. Everything was amazing, even the invitation. They provided party buses to transport us from the Atrium Soho location to the actual party in Brooklyn. It was a mobile party going to a party, how cool is that? The venue was filled with plenty of big names from within the industry. DJ Clark Kent was on the 1's and 2's, Ryan Leslie performed some of his unreleased music for us, and there was a mini fashion show. To sum it all up, This was EPIC!!!!!!

DMC Announces All-Electric DeLorean For 2013

It seems like everything from the Back to the Future movie is making a comeback after the recent success of the Nike Air Mags. Personally I'm excited about it, I just wish I had the funds to afford all of it... LOL. Maybe I should start saving up for a hoverboard now because I'm sure that's coming out soon. Check out the new electric DeLorean below, photos and release info are from Autoblog.com

Given the car's iconic classic/futuristic status, it's no surprise that the DeLorean DMC-12 is a popular car for DIY electric car conversions. That an honest-to-goodness official DeLorean EV is coming from Humble, Texas' reborn DeLorean Motor Company itself, though? That we did not see coming. It makes sense, though. If you're gonna build a time machine electric car, why not do it with some style?

Announced Friday night at the DMC Texas Open House, DMC said it plans to work with electric car startup Epic EV to get an all-electric DMC-12 into production by 2013. Epic is the company started by Aptera co-founder Chris Anthony that is working on the Torq and Amp vehicles. Early reports say the Electric DeLorean will have a maximum speed of 125 miles per hour and offer 260 horsepower for something like $90,000-100,000. The gullwing doors should remain, but we're not sure where the motor will go (the original DeLorean used a rear-mounted engine), let alone the battery pack. This isn't the first time a DeLorean with an alternative powertrain has been talked about. Before his death in 2005, John DeLorean hinted that a hydraulic hybrid drivetrain might find a home in a relaunched DMC-12. That never happened, of course.

Specific technical details on the upcoming DeLorean Electric are sparse, but we're pretty sure it will be able to recharge its 1.21 gigawatt-hour battery instantly when connected to the right power source. You know, until the inevitable Mr. Fusion model gets the green light.

Terry Mcfly Goes to New York Comic Con 2011

Last weekend, I decided to step outside the box and go experience something new. I went to Comic Con at the Jacob Javitz Center in New York City, and what an experience it was. This was my first time attending a Comics Convention. I was a bit overwhelmed by the number of press outlets that reached out to me for coverage, but I definitely felt valued and welcomed. Comic Con is one of those places where the attendees are just as exciting as the actual exhibitions, check out a few of the photos below and you'll see exactly what I mean.

Throughout my 3 day journey of Comic Con, there was 3 companies that really stood out and made my experience worth while. I would like to thank Capcom, Rockstar Games, and DC Comics for the unique experiences. Capcom invited me to all their events and even gave me a 1 on 1 tour of every single game title at their booth. I got to play every new game they had to offer with no line at all with a developer by my side to describe what's going on. Every exhibitor can learn a thing or two from the great folks at Capcom.

The greatest thing about Comic Con is the free swag. I wound up leaving with about 5 new t-shirts, too many posters, and way too much gum.... LOL. This was a great experience, I made alot of new friends in an industry that I initially had no access to. I don't know if I'll ever go to one of these events wearing a costume but I will definitely be in attendance next year.

A Tribute to Steve Jobs

Yesterday the entire tech world was shaken by the loss of Apple co-founder, Steve Jobs. I was also in shock, the amazing innovation of what he created has built a bond over the years with society. It feels like I lost a close friend or relative, that's how great of an impact Steve Jobs has had on popular culture. His passing was expected though, he lived his life to the fullest as long as he could. Steve Jobs will now and forever be remembered as one of the greatest visionaries and geniuses of our lifetime. His life story has and will continue to encourage a generation of risk takers and dream chasers. Steve Jobs 1955-2011 ...we'll miss you Steve, Thank you for representing for those of us who "Think Different."

This was Steve Jobs very last Apple keynote before he stepped down as the CEO.

Documentary: Nobody Can Predict The Moment Of Revolution #OccupyWallstreet

Here's a very interesting and informative documentary about the social movement/protest taking place on wall street right now.

Here's a description directly from the source:
"We want to share insights into the formation of a new social movement as it is still taking shape in real time. The video was shot during the 5th and 6th day of the occupation. This idea to occupy the financial district in New York City was inspired by recent uprisings in Spain, Greece, Egypt, and Tunisia which most of us were following online. Despite of the corporate media's effort to silence the protests, and Yahoo's attempt to to censor it in e-mail communication, the occupation is growing in numbers and spreading to other cities in the US and abroad."

Find the latest news, learn how to participate and support:

Here's another video that I found yesterday from the scene on wall street, very powerful message indeed.

A young law student lies down in protest in front of a major bank on September 24, 2011. Chanting, "I am not moving!" and, "This is the bank that took my parents home!" he peacefully submits to the authorities.

This year's fashion week has been a surreal experience, I had the opportunity to meet so many designers, stylists, and celebrities. Here's a small compilation of some of the familiar people I met, I obviously couldn't take photos of every single person I saw but having some photos is better than having no photos. Also, stay tuned for the Fashion's Night Out video, which should be posted later on this week.
